They are hard to find
when your eyes are closed, but
they are everywhere you look, when you choose
to see.

People that
are close to us and those just passing
through our lives have a reason to be there.
Each of us should stop, listen and be kind.
Who can say they have not been sent to us for
a reason?
"When
your brow gets wrinkled from worry and
care.."It's time for a Faith Lift!"

I want to share a story with you that
follows below. Perhaps
t his will give you another reason to
smile each day......
"The
Pastor And The Child"
A pastor tells
the story of how, during the twelve years fo
his pastorate at one particular church, he
had a custom during the Sunday morning
service of calling the children forward just
before his sermon so that the children could
go to a special "children's church"
and hear a sermon geared especially for them.
During their
processional to their assembly hall, the
children marched past the pulpit and the
pastor made it a point to smile at each
child. In return, he received their smiles.
"It was one of the high points of the
service, he recalled.
One day,
however, the pastor apparently missed smiling
at one child. A
curly-headed four-year-old ran out of the
procession and threw herself into the arms of
her mother, sobbing as if her heart was
broken.
After the
service the pastor sought out the mother to
find out what had happened. The mother
explained that after her child had quieted,
she asked what caused the tears. The
child had said, "I smiled at God, but he
didn't smile back at me!"
The pastor
reflected, "To that child, I stood for
God. I had failed with my smile, and the
world went dark."
So my Friends remember to
"Smile at each
person you meet today."
"You may never know
how much you may have
" Brightened
a life!"
